Totals* |
Fe was measured as total Fe. The following assignments were made based on published analysis of similar species for which oxidation states were determined (Deer, et al, 1992). Fe in the amphibole was assumed ferrous. Fe in epdidote was assumed ferric. Fe in vermiculite was proportioned 2/3 ferric and 1/3 ferrous. *Oxides are not reported on a water-free basis.
