1. Absolutely no make-up exams will be given.

 

2. Final grade will be determined as follows:

 

a. Lecture exam #1                               -                  25%

b. Lecture exam #2                               -                  25%

c. Lecture exam #3                                -                  25%

d. Class presentations                          -                  10%

e. Occasional exercises                       -                  15%

                                                                   Total           100%

 

A note about lecture exam grading... please review your test immediately upon return. If you think a question has been improperly evaluated, then I encourage you come back to discuss it during the following class period. Be prepared with an explanation of why you should receive more (or less?) credit. In some cases I may ask that you provide written clarification.

 

3.  If you have a question or problem, then please see me about it sooner, rather than later. My office is open anytime except while teaching other classes. You can always set up an appointment by phone, e-mail or by seeing me after class.

 

4.  On several occasions, I will be out of town to attend conferences.  The dates include, September 15th, November 3rd and 5th.
