1. Absolutely no make-up exams or quizzes will be given.
2. Final grade will be determined from your scores, which count as follows:

3. If you have a question or problem, then please see me about it sooner, rather than later. You can always set up an appointment by phone or e-mail.
4. I will be out of town on several occassions to attend a conference and for a research expedition. The dates include Septermber 5th to September 17th and October 30th. A substitute lecturer will present the lectures.
5. If more than one exam is missed, then you will be administratively withdrawn from the class. If you miss two exams before midterm, then you will receive a W. If after midterm you miss two exams, then you will receive a WF.
6. If you miss three quizzes before midterm, then you will receive a W and administratively withdrawn from the class. If after midterm you miss three quizzes, then you will receive a WF. Some quizzes will be unannounced.
7. The only extra credit offered will be the optional field trip.
