This page shows siliciclastic sands from passive continental margins. We've divided them into those from glaciated areas and those from non-glaciated areas. One would expected the sands from non-glaciated areas to be richer in quartz. Detailed mineralogical analysis of these sands will likely be a project in a UGA sandstone petrology class someday.
