A vacuum extraction line in the University of Georgia Stable Isotope Laboratory. Gases derived from the acidization of minerals are extracted and purified on this line and then transferred to the mass spectrometers for analysis. The Stable Isotope Lab operates under the direction of Dr. Douglas E. Crowe and the day-to-day supervision of Ms. Julia Cox.
