We're in a farm field admiring the haystacks used to dry hay in the traditional Tirolean fashion. This picture was taken in 1998 and shows the old-fashioned way of hanging hay from branching wooden stakes so that it dries in the field. Modern large machine-made bales are increasingly common on Tirolean farms.
