We're standing on the Inn Bridge in Innsbruck, looking southeast with the morning light across the Markthalle district. The two mountains in the distance are major landmarks. To the left, and more distant, is Serles, a steep peak of somewhat metamorphosed limestone in the metamorphic Alps. To the right is the Nocksptize. The strong horizontal lines of Josef Moeller Haus, the modern University building that we visited early, are visible upstream (to the right) on the bank of the river.
