We're standing on the south bank of the Inn in western Innsbruck watching a train leave for Seefeld and Mittenwald. This train will pass through the tunnels we saw a few stops ago as it climbs to Seefeld.
This bridge over the Inn serves multiple functions. The undercarriage of the bridge has a walkway for pedestrians and bicyclists, though none seem to have been on the bridge at the moment this picture was taken. Innsbruck is a city friendly to traffic on foot and by bicycle, as we'll see in views of bridges over the Inn.
