We're near the village of Simmering, admiring two very typical Tyrolean farmhouses below the grey cliffs of the Calcareous Alps. Note the charming flower-bedecked balconies and windows of the white homes at the front. Then note the dark brown wood of the barns at the rear. Farmhouse and barn are one and the same here, in part because getting from one to the other in winter could be quite challenging.

        With that said, here's a different view, in which these two farmhouses are at mid-right, and the Calcareous Alps rise behind them:
