The arch at the intersection of Maria Theresien Strasse, Salurner Strasse, Leopoldstrasse, and Maximillian Strasse in Innsbruck, as seen from Leopold Strasse and thus looking toward Maria Theresien Strasse. Erected in the late 1700s, the arch has one side commemorating the marriage of Maria Theresea's son Leopold and the other side memorializing the death of her husband Francis|
Also note in the background the Nordkette Ridge of the Calcareous Alps in the background. Those mountains will be in the background during most of our trip up Maria Theresien Strasse.
