2008 IFP/GeoJourney Mail Drop Locations

During the course of the eight-week summer program we will be able to receive mail in several locations (see below). Please copy and distribute this list freely, since once we get rolling you will occasionally yearn for contact with the outside world. In order to avoid mix-ups, it is important that senders carefully follow the instructions below.

Senders should plan for the arrival of mail to coincide with the dates listed below. Please allow 7 days for delivery, but not more than 14 days. Some Post Offices will return mail to sender if it has not been picked up within 10 days. When I pick up mail at one location, I will leave instructions for late arrivals to be forwarded to our next mail drop. However, it is not uncommon for late packages to follow us around the country, never get delivered to the intended student, and finally be returned to sender. Don’t let this happen to you. Timing is everything. Also, DO NOT HAVE MAIL SENT TO YOU AT THE CAMPSITES. Most campgrounds are not equipped to deal with camper mail and there is no guarantee that undelivered packages will be returned to sender.

Please use the following format in addressing mail.
